Hi, I am Luca

I am a Data Scientist and a Researcher at the Institute of Information Science and Technologies (ISTI) at the Italian National Research Council (CNR).

I study how the analysis of Big Data can help us in understanding issues in several fields, like Human Mobility, Complex Systems, and Science of Success. Currently, I work on Sports Analytics and Mobility Analytics.

In this website you find my publications, newspaper articles, audio interviews, and some data visualization projects. You can download my resume at this link.

I am organizing Data Beers Tuscany. If you use data analysis in your everyday practice, you have built a service built on data, you have any kind of artistic project based on data, you are obsessed with data at any level, and finally, you like beer, come with us to discuss data topics with beers in Tuscany!
